| “ These graphics were generated from an interactive application developed by us using the programming language Processing, as part of our final year project “Montitoring and Visualizing Last.fm”. For this purpose we saved all the Europe concert data to be found in the database of Last.fm, a personalized webradio, over a period of four months, the first two weeks of which are illustrated in the graphics. We related the concerts to various groups of genres, three of which are being accentuated by colour. Each genre group can also be presented for itself. Since some concerts were performed in the same month at the same place we arranged them in a 3-dimensional pattern in order to ensure a precise geographic correlation. Further, we were able to discover the performing artists for each concert, and to trace back their tour-routes.
